Fresh great deals
Six reads on the car before you call the dealer
Here's the live Mercedes-AMG G63 page, shrunk down. Every one of the models we track gets the same treatment.
Cuts are widespread and sell-through is low — better prices likely in the next 30-60d.
- 1
Ask against sold
The dealer median ask as a line, every real sale as a dot. This one sold for $129k–$274k over the last 12 months. The gap is your room to negotiate.
- 2
A plain verdict
One call per model with the reason in a line. Today the Mercedes-AMG G63 reads Wait.
- 3
Where to open
Dealers here usually give about 2.3%, so a realistic deal lands near $154k. Start below that.
- 4
How the dealers behave
Days on market (64 here), price-cut history and relists, store by store across 535 dealers. Know who holds firm before you call.
- 5
Where prices are heading
Comp Trend says which way the price is moving (Falling on this one).
- 6
A heads-up when it moves
An email when a car you follow drops or a better one lists, and a garage that tracks what yours is worth.
Reads 1 to 3 are open to everyone, no account. A free account adds 4 and the email heads-up in 6. Premium adds the 1, 3 and 5-year ranges in 5 and instant alerts.
Decision intelligence, not just listing dumps
Know what it's really worth.
Live median asking price and confidence-adjusted ranges per model. Spot when a listing is anchored to fantasy — or when a comp is the steal of the week.

Dealer leaderboardBe early on the inventory that matters.
Every price reduction tracked. Relisted VINs surfaced when they reappear after a quiet pull. Stale inventory flagged before it's discounted.

What do these numbers mean?
- Median ask
- Middle asking price across live listings. Asks, not sold prices.
- Market state
- Heating, Stable or Softening, from how fast cars sell, how inventory is moving and how often prices are cut. Heating favours the dealer, Softening favours the buyer.
- Days on market (DOM)
- Days a car has been listed. The figure shown is the median: half of the cars have been listed longer. Longer means more room to negotiate.
- Active with cuts
- Recent price cuts relative to the number of cars for sale. Above 100% means cuts are more frequent than there are cars listed, because one car can be cut several times. Heavy discounting.
- Liquidity
- How easily cars sell here, scored 0-100 from sell-through, days on market and how often asks are cut. Higher means a faster, easier sale.
- Inventory change
- Change in the number of cars for sale against the prior period. Rising means more supply and more room to negotiate.
- Expected haircut
- The discount dealers usually end up giving: how often asks get cut times the typical cut. A sensible anchor for a first offer.
- Price spread (CV)
- Spread of asking prices around the median. Higher means a wider range, so a single comp tells you less about what you should pay.
Price by model year
Ask vs sold for one model year at a time: 447 model years with enough sales to call a value.
